Amplified U94 PTT System Compatible with Icom Radio

The Amplified Push-To-Talk system is designed to allow military communications headsets with low impedance (such as Comtac and MSA Sordin) to be used with high impedance civilian handheld or general aviation radio systems. If you are experiencing difficulties being heard when using your military headset with a civilian radio, this system can solve the problem without the need to change the microphone or use a separate amplifier.

Equipped with a high-performance amplification circuit, the system features a TP-120 / U-174 / U-93 / Helicopter socket on the headset end and an Icom 2-pin plug on the radio end. The NATO standard U94 body includes an alligator clip for easy attachment to clothing or MOLLE webbing.

The system comes pre-wired for Military / NATO-US headsets, with the microphone connection (-MIC, +EAR) and earphone connection (+MIC, -EAR) clearly indicated.
