The downward oriented Nexus TP-120 port is designed to prevent rain or water from accidentally entering the device when not in use, and a rubber port plug is included for when the headset is detached. The oversized silicone rubber push-to-talk button is easy to manipulate and engineered to withstand over 80,000 activations.

The device is housed in a reinforced case measuring 73x73x28mm and features a stainless steel 360-degree rotating belt clip. It is wired with a NATO-US 6-pin U-329/U connector for easy compatibility with a variety of radios.
